Celine Dion Bows For The Last Time At Caesars

Celine Dion took her last bow at Caesars Palace.Since the opening of the show in March 2003, "A New Day ... " it has grossed more than $400 million and was seen by nearly 3 million fans. Celine herself said that she knew of one fan who had seen the show more than 100 times. So in 4 years the fan saw it at least twice a month( or more) for 4 full years? Is that normal?

The tickets for the last performance were for sale on EBay for as much as $1,899.

Last month, she released her first English CD in 4 years. It's called "Taking Chances" The CD was the 12th best-selling in the U.S., according to Billboard magazine.

Soon Celine will start touring. Her first date will be Valentine's Day and it will be in with a first concert date set for Valentine's Day in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Bette Midler's "The Showgirl Must Go On," will replace her and is set to open Feb. 20

"Tomorrow morning, it will be back to reality and back to (being) mommy," Dion told reporters after the show.
