Advice to the Celebs like Paris, Lindsay Lohan, Nick Nolte,etc. Stay within Los Angeles city if you don't want your mugshot blasted all over the Internet.
It is reported by AP that Malibu, Santa Monica and Glendale release the mug shots but LA County does not unless the investigators feel it will help them protect the public from harm.
This is how Britney who was recently charged with Hit and Run avoided her mugshot to kept private. Was this just luck on Britney's part to happen to choose this polce station to turn herself in or was it a move set up by her attorney?
We will never know but we do know that her mugshot for this crime is protected. We'll have to wait til she commits her next crime. I'm thinking it shouldn't be too long.
